Dance - Reconsideration
Reconsideration (Omprövning) investigates the refined and skilled body of the ballet dancer as shaped by the traditional technique of ballet.
In 2011 Anna Koch initiated the first stage of the choreography project as work in progress. Now in 2012 its second stage the project will be presented as a solo dance performed by Anna-Mi Fredriksson who returns to Stockholm after an extensive period as a member of the ensemble of The English National Ballet. This will inaugurate her premiere on a Swedish stage. Later 2012 the project will develop further to a groupwork with four dancers.

In the concept for Granfors, the choreographic idea was inspired post-modernist architecture. Granfors works with deconstruction in his design concept and we wanted to create a physical deconstruction of how the garments enter new shapes through movement.
